Procrastination (or Morgen, morgen, nur nicht heute...)

Often I lecture my daughter, Julia, on not procrastinating, giving her all sorts of (unsolicited) motherly advice...

Personally, I like to get things done right away so I can forget about them but during tax season I am the queen of procrastination.

I had planned to organize the taxes yesterday, then decided today would be a better day.

It is almost 6 pm and I have spent the day organizing my studio and taking apart old necklaces and bracelets. I got out the tumbler and tumbled some jewelry. I made a new bracelet called "Windy City Winter" using some crystal quartz and fabulous Thai silver disks. I also made a matching necklace.

The taxes will have to wait until tomorrow...
