Macritchie Reservoir

Yesterday we finally made it to the Macritchie Reservoir, which is located about 15 minutes from our apartment. The park was just beautiful: lush, green rainforest, clear cool water, wonderful hiking paths, including a boardwalk that follows the waters edge for more than a kilometer. The longest trail is 11km. We didn't have time to hike the whole 11 km, but are looking forward to going back soon.

We came across a family of monkeys, playing 0n the branches and with each other. One even grabbed a boy's plastic water bottle right out of the kid's hand as he was walking by. The boy decided to let the monkey keep it...
